the learning Kurve

Being a Socialite ensures a few things. One of them is the fact that you you're going to have a whole lotta friends (Thanks D.M. for the word on this one!).

Another is that you need to know about the new places to eat + drink. So, word came across my inbox about a BRAND NEW!™ place, in the East Village, that is set to open today called KURVE
(87 Second Avenue, at 5th Street; 212.260.8018).

As you may be able to tell from the picture on the right, one of the goals of this Asian Eatery (that's their term, not mine) is to make an immediate visual impression on its patrons. So, to those of you who are into the aesthetic thing, you don't even need to read anymore, just head on down there...

Now, for those of you who care or don't care about aesthetics and want to get down to the nitty gritty of things (FOOD + DRINK DAMMIT!) I've had a chance to jack the menu (only because it's posted online). From what I can see, you don't have to worry too much about your friends' eating habits as they cover the gamut of food types (vegetarian, seafood eater + downright carnivore) to offer an apealing choice of food (+ drink).

As Mr. Mystery, I give this the thumbs up as a place to try right now, but feel free to stay tuned to PART 2 because I'll be there to sample KURVE's offerings this weekend.

Maybe I'll see you there, and if I do you'll see me... you just won't know it...
